Alterations
Kerley Builders Ltd will carry out alterations to:
– Buildings and enclosures, doors and windows, extensions and any other house alterations, to add extra space to accommodate an expanding family, or simply to add a sense of spaciousness.

All our bespoke joinery and fitted furniture is handmade at our workshop in Farlington, covering all aspects, in both hardwoods and softwoods to cater for all your internal and external requirements including all styles of windows for Listed Building projects.

Brickwork
Kerley Builders Ltd have many years of experience in bricklaying, pointing and repointing of stone and flintwork. This can be a very time consuming job and although it may look easy it takes much experience to get the professional finish seen on our jobs.

Windows
Kerley Builders Ltd are expert window fitters, we install new or replace old windows and doors, conservatories and glazed curtain walls in all types of properties. We work with both traditional wooden or metal framed products and also UPVC units. The windows and doors may be single or double glazed units or may be in the form of secondary glazing fitted inside existing windows.
UPVC Fascias
Most homes have fascias, soffits and barge-boards on their roofs, and many have panels of softwood cladding. As with softwood window frames, these elements need regular painting and maintenance. Today Kerley Builders Ltd offer a range of high-tech replacements made from maintenance-free UPVC.
Double & Triple Glazing
Double and triple glazing in doors and windows is the modern standard today. It is simply defined as two panes of glass with a layer of air or gas between each pane of glass. However, there is much more to it than that. Double-glazing has many advantages. Most obviously, it reduces noise, prevents draughts and retains the heat to keep the house warm during the cold weather. This will reduce costs considerably because it lowers heating and fuel bills. Your house will also be more peaceful as noise from outside will be significantly reduced. Double-glazed doors and windows increase the value and enhance the look of your property. They also provide much better security. These windows are more difficult and noisy to break and come equipped with a range of security locks and bolts to deter intruders and burglars.

Roofing and Tiling
Kerley Builders Ltd will carry out all aspects of slating and tiling to suit your requirements.
Tiling – be it a minor repair to your roof, a strip and re-tile or a complete new roof, with a multitude of colours in either clay or concrete tile, can transform your home. We can also offer repair or renovations for tile hung properties.
Slating – for a more traditional look natural or synthetic slate can be used on your roof. Reclaimed slate can be used to blend seamlessly on period properties. Installed correctly a slate roof will last 60-125 years with very little maintenance.

Project Management
If a client wishes, Kerley Builders Ltd will project manage and take overall responsibility for the management, planning, co-ordination and financial control of a construction project. We will see that the client’s wishes are adhered to and that the project is completed on time within the budget agreed. We can be involved right from the initial conception and design of the project, through construction to its completion.
